In this edition, we show you a quick comparison between all the Subscription Video On Demand (SVOD) services in market and how they compare, plus it’s the annual Harvey Norman Electrical Franchisee Conference this morning so if you’re in Melbourne come and see the Fetch TV stand.
The annual conference is on again and this year Fetch TV will have a stand. If you’re in Melbourne, come past and take a look.
When : Tuesday 14th July until Thursday 16th July
Where : Melbourne Showgrounds
Fetch TV customers are now able to buy that latest movies and TV Shows by going to the Movie Store & TV Store. To purchase content customers can select a title, enter their 4 digit pin and it will automatically go through on their credit card. It’s important for customers to update this pin when they first set up their Fetch TV box to give them piece of mind that the kids won’t go ‘buy’ crazy.
To change the parental pin customers simply go to: Menu > Manage > Settings > User > PIN Change
The whole sports conversation is much easier now that ESPN is available on Fetch TV, but you are still going to get the usual questions about other sports. Here’s a useful tip to help make NRL conversations easier.
The biggest games in the round are all shown on free to air TV, but there are always some games that people can’t get on FTA and unfortunately aren’t available on Fetch TV. Did you know that people don’t need to subscribe to Fox Sports to see these games? They can access games online with an NRL digital pass or using the NRL app. The digital pass is $2.99 per week or just $89.99 for 12 months and you can subscribe at https://digitalpass.nrl.com/
With the digital pass you can watch every match as soon as it’s on TV, with up to six live Telstra Premiership games every week. Enjoy streaming quality up to 1.5mbps on compatible tablet and laptop devices. There’s also access to replays, special interviews and on demand archive games. All for much less than it costs for a year of Fox Sports.
Unfortunately the fix for AFL isn’t quite as easy. There’s no web option, but you can watch live games on your tablet with a subscription to the AFL live app.
